In 2015 at 19 she published her first debut single Here. It was an instant hit with both critics as well as people who loved it praised it. The single peaked at the number 19 spot on both the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it as one of the most memorable songs in 2015. In the same year, she released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of five tracks that were the first to reach Billboard's charts. Alessia Cara is a Canadian singer who was born on the 11th of July, 1996 to parents with Italian heritage. Her first guitar was given to her by her parents when she reached the age of 10, and that sparked her passion for the music. She started covering her favorite songs when she was thirteen to show that world that she had the ability and confidence needed to sing. Indeed, one of her covers Sweater Weather is the track which got her attention by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to record and compose her songs.
